Story Workshop Starter Kit

To encourage all K and K/1 teachers to incorporate Story Workshop into their classes we gave each class a starter kit that included loose materials and a literature set to support conversations about storytelling with students. Teachers heard a brief introduction to the idea of Story Workshop, then had a chance to explore the materials before getting practical advice on launching Story Workshop from a panel of their colleagues that have already implemented it in their classrooms. Teachers left feeling excited to give it a try and as a district we look forward to continuing to support them as they implement Story Workshop in their classes.
